Project C.U.R.E. Orientation Dinner and Training

Project C.U.R.E. welcomes a wide variety of engineers to assist us with equipment repair.  Particularly helpful are:

• Biomed techs
• Biomedical engineers
• Electrical Engineers
• Mechanical Engineers
• Other engineers with a "Tinkerers" Heart!

This session will include an overview of the work we do at Project C.U.R.E. and a tour of both our distribution center and the Clinical Engineering Lab.  This is a great opportunity to get to know us, ask questions, and network with fellow engineers.  A light dinner will be served.  Dinner 6:00 - 6:30 followed by presentation and tour. 

Project C.U.R.E. was founded in 1987 to help meet the need for medical supplies, equipment, and services around the world. Project C.U.R.E. builds sustainable healthcare infrastructure by providing the medical supplies and equipment needed to deliver healthcare in communities. Since its inception, Project C.U.R.E. has delivered medical relief to people in need in more than 130 countries.

Please keep in mind the following:

• Attire:  Volunteers are required to wear closed-toed shoes. We recommend comfortable, weather-appropriate attire that you don't mind getting dusty.  The warehouse is colder in winters and warmer in summers.
• Cancellation concern:  If you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration so we do not schedule staff unnecessarily.
